      About Us:

Attracted to this beautiful valley as many are, the family began farming fruit in Creston in 1928. The market is a recent addition allowing us to diversify our crops, and provide fruits and vegetables directly to the public. Presently we farm about 35 acres of apples, 12 acres of soft fruit, and 8 acres of vegetables. We take pride in offering our customers fresh farm direct-to-you fruit and vegetables in our market where only the best will do. Our farm is concerned about the environment and the unnecessary use of pesticides, so our farming practices include the Integrated Pest Management. One of the most important tools of the IPM approach is to monitor crops regularly and treat pests only when and where necessary. Seldom are our vegetables ever treated with pesticides.

We offer discounts on large volume buying so you can save money when you can or freeze fruit. We offer to prepare your fruit for long distance travelling. We know how disappointing it can be to arrive home with bruised or over-ripe fruit. So tell us and we won't let our good fruit go bad on you! We welcome wholesale enquiries on fruits and vegetables for those that want to resale or just need lots.

We start growing 20 varieties of peppers and 16 varieties of squash and many other veggies in the greenhouse. That way we know the quality and freshness of the produce we sell to you. We offer discounts in large volume buying for preserving and pickling.

Orchard View

We farm about 25 acres of apples making us one of the larger growers in the area. Macs, Spartans, Red and Golden Delicious, Gala, Jonagold, Transparent, Mutsu, Empire, Orin, Tydeman, Gravenstien, and a few other newer varieties are available here. We sell our apples by the pound, by a 10lb or 15+ lb bag or by the box (35 lbs). We also sell bins of apples at competitive prices. For more information about apples, you can contact us at 428-5120.

   Plus:
As informed as we are in growing fruit and vegetable, we believe our staff also must be able to offer customers information on how to care for, select, and cook vegetables and fruits. We offer recipes, fruit/veggies fact info, and vegetables. You have to taste the freshness to believe
